I agree...AVG Anti-Virus is pure crap!

While Avast is a very good free program, it is basically just an anti-virus only (with some anti-spyware capabilities).

Your Trend is a complete internet security suite including a Firewall and much more:

I have used Avast to remove a virus that McAfee was unable to detect. They are a good solution for the price but Trend Micro is a better overall solution. Looks like Norton has some issues related to Windows XP SP3 so steer clear until Microsoft and Norton battle this one out. If you need the best protection then ESET has the competition beat hands down - they detect more virus' than any other solution on the market.
Actually a FREE "Anti-Vir" is a FRAUD....

If you want it you will end up getting Lots of Virus...

It won't protect your PC even 50% of what you are you expecting from an "Anti-Vir" tho!!!
