Am i fully protected?

i have windows xp with 224mb of ram with avast, windows deffander, spybot serch and destroy. i want to know is thier still anything missing for me to download to be fully proteacted from every single type of virus?

that's pretty much impossible. there is no way to protect yourself from every single type of virus out there.

however, you are well off. you have pretty much everything that most people use: virus scanner, spyware scanner, and firewall.

to protect yourself from everything, the best thing to do is not use the internet. virus' change, technology gets better, malware gets smarter every day. nothing you can do but minimize your risks by using what you're using.

I run more than that and I still get viruses.
The only other thing I can think of is to make sure windows Firewall is turned on. (in your Control Panel).

Also, make sure you update those programs you mentioned very often - they should have automatic updates so they can install new virus definition protection files, etc.

Be careful about what software you use, and what kinds of files you download also. Limewire files are full of viruses, spyware, etc.
