Is it enough to have firefox?

I have Mozilla Firefox and Avast anti virus. Is it enough just to have Mozilla Firefox to keep your computer virus free? Please tell me why or why not then.

Basically the mozilla fire fox is web browser if u was installed any spyware tool bar in it .it ll give u minimum leval of protection.do this thing

1.For pc's intrenal protection against virus and un wanted spy ware u need to install Anti-Virus 1st. Preffered anti viruses are (1) NOrton version after 2003 if u r going to install 2003/04/05/06 u need to live update dabase and virus defination of it.than it ll be able to fight with current viruses otherwise its not able to find new viruses

(2) sencond prefferd anti virus is Macafee and also nod 32. and bitdefender anti virus

Now, if u r using internet u need to install anti - spyware and anti pop up

FOr spy-ware : prefferd Norton,spyware doctor,Ad-Aware,bitdefender

For blocking popups- Install any explorere or browser tool bar of yahoo or Google.. yahoo bar can give u some benefit of Norton for spyware too.

Using the net :- always use FIRE-WALL for ur dialup (PSTN %26 ISDN) connection,use fire wall if u r working on LAN,WAN or INTRANET.
