Problem With a Kingston 2 Gb Pen Drive....?

When I insert my Pen Drive (PD) in the Usb port of the PC, the Icon appears in 'My Computer' Window.

But when I double-Click on the icon to view the contents of The Pen Drive,It says Access Denied.

The Pen Drive opens corectly if i right-clik the drive's icon after selecting it %26 then choose any option like: Explore, Search etc.

The troubleshooting I have tried:

1. Formatted the PD with FAT32 File System through DOS and Through Windows also for a couple of times.

2. Scanned it with Avast.Professional V4.7.827 several times %26 it is not showing any Virus.; Results of Scan: Showed tat that it scanned 1 file(autorun.inf) %26 2 Folders( Both's Name: Recycled) totalsize 62.7 Kb, But i m not able to view anything by opening the drive in that cumbersome method...

Problem With a Kingston 2 Gb Pen Drive....?virus scanner

i haven't heard of virus destroying a hardware before. but recently i suffered from similar problem. avast is waste because it wont even detect the virus. install some paid antivirus software like mcafee (highly recommended) or symantac. detecting a virus is important, but what's more important is to delete or fix the virus. see if the virus is cleaned or deleted.
