I just installed Charter High Speed internet the other day and it asked me to turn off all my anti spyware and anti virus programs because it may interfere with downloading the program. So I did, then when I was done I turned everything back on. After that, just in case, I ran a virus scan. I have Avast home edition. I did the thorough scan and it said that there was 151 files that it couldn't scan.?????????? What does that mean? Why can't it scan certain files? What should I do with the files that it couldn't scan? I looked over all the files and I really didn't know what most of them were so what should I do?

They were probably protected system files or files that were in use during the scan. Most likely they are safe. If you are truly concerned, try scanning in safe mode (repeatedly tap F8 during system boot to bring up the advanced boot menu, then choose safe mode)
