Computer acting really weird? What do i do?

I ran Avast Antivirus and Ewido and neither of them are picking anything up. When i use the scroll bar it moves without me even moving it it just goes up and down. AND when i go to type in an address at the address bar the little blinkie just moves and wont stop. What do i do?

Looks like a stuck-up key in the keyboard. If the mouse pointer is "crawling" along or upward or downwards the screen, that could be radio-frequency interference. You don't happen to have your cellphone near the computer, do you?

When you type on a Word document, do you observe any key repeating itself once you tap on it? If so, you might need to replace the keyboard.

If you have a USB mouse, try unplugging it and then plug it back in and see it still occurs. If you have a PS/2 (round plug on the back of your computer) shutting down and rebooting might help.

If it's still occurring. Go into your Control Panel and check if anything weird is set in your mouse properties. Sometimes these are "features" that are enabled by your mouse driver and you could have them turned on without knowing about it.
