i use "NOD32" ...works fine

and i use "ad-Aware se professional"
Avast has more features but I have always found it to slow my PC down a lot.

I use avg and also run an online scan at http://usa.kaspersky.com/services/free-v... just for a bit more security

i'm not sure if they plan on including a spyware scanner on that but i also have adaware on my computer

edit-spyware, in excessive amounts, can be extremely destructive. it'll slow down your computer, and may cause pop-ups even when you're not online

a good tip-don't download anything from a site you can't trust! (such as smileycentral, or those free ringtones)

as long as it's always updated .. I think it will be the same
Download one and use it for a week or two. Remove it and do the same with the other. Now you can choose the one you like best.
Sorry I do not know.I use McAFee and it works well for me.My dad uses Norton and he likes that one.I would suggest one of these because I do not know enough about those two.
Yup, AVG by Grisoft is definately "The Best"--NOT! Unfortunately one of the things it is not the best at is doing what is is supposed to do, detecting viruses!
