Free antivirus /firewall question?

my comp is old and low on RAM... the good anti viruses and firewalls drain my system alittle too much....so question is , if you could only use one good ,free firewall or anti virus which one should be the good one?...example i will use either zone alarm firewall with EAV antivirus( EAV is very low on resources and seems to have good user reveiws, ive also used it and like it fairly well but not really sure about it yet,...) or should i use windows firewall with something like AVira antivirus? ( AVG and AVast drain reasources way too much )........thanks for your opinions

You can check free ones here which are tried by many before.
Kerio 2.1.5 is just about the lightest firewall there is. Uses about 4 MB RAM on my machine. It can't be used on Vista however.
