load up avast, find the mail protocols, find the smtp port its ports 25 and blank it out, you'll keep the virus,but it will no longer send out mail from that account but keep it as your default input, open account at yahoo, anybody know how to get rid of the virus I downloaded all the recommended virus stuff and still i have it, now if you want to talk to me my yahoo address is headtrucker2000 been at this address a while, my site is http://www.global-airconditioning.com its not for profit, i plant apple trees for free, you can too, eat ten locally grown apples collect the seeds, then throw them away, or put into a balloon fill with lighter than air gas and let it go, a million people doing this will put 30 million apple trees around the world the sites going off soon, no more money

When you run an antivirus program like Spybot Search and Destroy, you should be able to see the exact files and registry keys.

If the virus reinfects your computer every time you boot, that's a ROOTKIT virus.

Out of frustration I developed a blocking process.
