How can i get rid of trojan viruses, AVG kept on detecting those virus in my pc but it keeps coming

I dont know if AVG is really effective. I can't get rid of those virus permanently. Any suggestions on how should i remove those viruses? Even my internet explorer got some problems. It will suddenly open too many websites like 20-50 plus blank websites until my pc hangs. I already used several anti-virus like clamwin, avast, avg but still it doesnt work. Anyone who could help me? tnx!

download a trojan remover from the internet.
Install norton anti virus. it will protect your computer
You could always format your hard drive. It would give you some peace of mind. I had a similar problem and i formatted my computer. But backup your important files on an external hard drive
Well I recommend Mcafee Anti-virus. Its a good program and it works good. Although you do have to pay a yearly fee its worth it. Only like 40 bucks. But if you don't want to do that the sure way to get rid of the viruses is to Format and reinstall your computer. Just insert your Computers Restore Disc and restart the computer. It will guide you through the rest of the process on how totally wipe out your computer and bring it back to what it was when you purchased it. (This will delete and remove all programs and saved files you put on this. But there is a chance that those files may be infected also so maybe try not to save too many to your removable media.)
Mellisa D had a good answer but not quite accurate. Nortons is a nice anti-virus program but Trojan (even though your computer keeps telling you its a virus) is not a virus, its a Ad-ware. Ad-ware is a triggered Data stealer that allows others to steal personal data about you and your operating system from your PC. Here is what you need to do. Go to www.download.com/3000-20-10122137.html and download Spybot - Search and Destroy. This is the only program i have ever found that 1- works properly, 2- wont wont damage your system, 3- is simple enough anyone (even a caveman could do it), and is 100% free. Go download that ... now go kick some spybot a(ss).... oh and BTW... the rest of the answers on here are the blabbering's of half-witted brain dead ignorance. cg Mellisa descent answer
