I have a homepage that won't....!!?

I have a Homepage that won't go away I go t control panel and try and reset the default homepage or I try and use yahoo as my homepage and it doesn't work... this homepage http://www.hotoffers.info/187.. and it keeps just poping up even when i am in the middle of something playing online games are whatever it doesn;'t go away HELP Me please..

I have avast... and spybot..

Question about spybot it keeps poping up with all this dialog boxes is it suppose to do that?

If you installed spybot's teatimer utility which locks system files to protect them from changes and you've installed some sort of virus or other malware that's trying to change those sys files then YES you will get a bunch of messages... and if you don't treat them accordingly you will screw up your computer even worse.

If you do not know how to use these programs you should not be listening to people who tell you to install them.

If you have a properly installed antivirus / firewall from a reliable vendor and it is properly configured and automatically updating... and you have properly configured and spybot and are operating it properly then a) you should not have been infected and b) it would have removed this.

I suggest you run the immunization on spybot asap.
