Is Adaware a memory hog?

I have spybot, zone alarm, winpatrol free and avast free running in my computer. I have an old computer and try to be light on memory. Want to add adaware free for additional spyware protection and was told it is a memory hog. True?



Any other free spyware app. that use little memory you may suggested. And what other protection I should get?

Yes it is. However, you dont want to run it all the time. Just run the program when your going to be aay from your pc and you should be just fine. You seem to have a good handle on soyware programs. I can t recomend anything your not running.

It's only a memory hog when it scans, however it does pair up nicely with SpyBot.
