about a week ago I was downloading photoshop cs2 from a website, and after downloading i checked the files for virusus, and their was no trace of viruses so i went on and installed the programme. But now my computer is really bad, and it wont let me restore my computer to a erlier date before this happened, and ive deleted the programme from my computer.
does any one know what i can do to sort my computer out? ive already ran my Avast anti-virus a handful of times and it dont seem to work.
Im willing to reset my whole computer !! if you can reset your computer, please tell me how to do that aswell.

Sounds like you downloaded files from Limewire which is full of viruses and is a hi-jacker.
start it up in safe mode then try to system restore from there
What do you mean that your computer is bad.. has it slowed down.. Try logging into safe mode and run a search for photoshop and remove all traces of it.. it is not a virus problem, and did you delete the programe or `uninstall' it? you should have uninstalled it. I'll not recommend you to edit the registry cause you might land into deeper problems.. best would be to try to fix windows (run the windows installer cd and follow onscreen instructions)... this should clear up the registry.. i realy wish you had defined more clearly about what is `bad' with your computer
Did u try ccleaner its a registry fixer which can fix your damage registry, its free go for it.
