Saving to your harddrive pop up =[?

ok, so i get these weird looking ads on most of the websites i go to, they never used to be there, but the little pop up ads say

"your computer may be saving dangerous adult files to your hard drive!"

sooo, i got avast and did the virus scan, and it removed the viruses it found, but when i go on sites like youtube.com, google, yahoo, hollisterco.com, i still see those little pop up ads

how do i get rid of it? =[

and also, when i log into my user name on my computer, my "my document" window pops up, how do i make it not pop up anymore?

Go to http://www.popup-remover.com

I use that program. It works very well.

Block pop-up ads and remove spyware .

it's some silly form of adware probably.

run ad-aware (it's free) and let it clean everything.

i personally like to run it from safe mode, just to cut the internet overall so it can see and quarantine everything.

in any case, it does a good job at cleaning all that nasty things which your anti-virus missed, simply because it's an anti-virus and focuses on viruses primarily.

you need anti-adware to deal with adware, anti-trojans to deal with trojans, etc.
